The Lock Up Cafe - Blue Barra Mural

I was lucky enough to be asked to do a mural at one of my favourite spots in Broome. Tucked away behind a big sturdy boab tree on Carnarvon St, is a building full of history and hidden gems. One of those gems,  being a GREAT coffee and tasty treats. The lock Up cafe is a sweet little spot always playing great music and the coffee is always on point. Walk through the heavy wooden door of the Lock-Up and you'll see what was once (many moons ago) the local prison, which has been transformed into a quaint little space displaying local art, craft and jewellery.  A couple of steps down the narrow hall, second cell on your right and you'll spot my Barra Blue mural. I had the most amazing weekend, listening to my favourite tunes, drinking coffee and playing with my paints.

I was sure to get out of there before night fall...
